Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
PoofCam (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a temporary camera and gallery. This Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device, what advertising partners may collect, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
2. Who we are
PoofCam is a technology company based in Israel, founded by Liron Shiryon. For privacy questions or requests, contact poofcam@lirshir.com.
3. What stays on your device
Photos, imported images, notes, To-Do items, timers, and app settings are stored locally on your device. PoofCam does not create a cloud account for your gallery, and we do not upload your media to our servers.
If you choose “Save permanently,” a copy may be written to your device’s photo library. Sharing uses the system share sheet you choose; we do not receive those files unless you email them to us.
4. No cloud photo account
There is no PoofCam user account for photos. Deleting the app (or clearing app data) removes the local gallery, subject to your device’s backup settings.
5. Advertising and device data
The app is free and shows advertisements through Unity Ads. Advertising is not the same as storing your photos. To serve, measure, and limit ads, Unity and related partners may collect or use:
- Device identifiers and advertising IDs
- Approximate location (as disclosed on Google Play Data safety)
- App activity related to ads (for example impressions and clicks)
- IP address and similar technical data sent over the network
This means PoofCam is not a zero-data product. Your media stays on the device; ad infrastructure still processes device and ad identifiers. See Unity’s Privacy Policy.
On iOS, the app may request App Tracking Transparency permission. You can refuse tracking and still use the camera and gallery.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through ads or support email, contact us.
6. How we use information
We use information to:
- Run the local camera, gallery, notes, timers, and To-Do list on your device.
- Display advertisements that fund the free app.
- Respond to support requests you send to our email.
- Meet legal obligations.
7. Permissions
The app may request:

You can deny permissions in device settings; some features may not work without them.
8. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with service providers needed to run ads and this website:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your photos or personal information to data brokers.
9. Data retention
- Media on device: Until the timer ends, you delete the item, you empty Recently Deleted, or you uninstall the app.
- Advertising identifiers: Retained by Unity and partners per their policies.
- Support email: Kept as long as needed to answer you, then deleted in the ordinary course.
10. Security
Local media stays in the app’s storage. Optional Face ID / app lock can require authentication to open PoofCam. No method is 100% secure; keep your device updated and use a lock screen.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold (typically support email).
- Delete local media in the app or by uninstalling.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (including ad tracking).
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Ads: Limit ad tracking in device settings (for example “Limit Ad Tracking” / App Tracking on iOS, or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).
12. International transfers
Advertising partners may process device identifiers in countries where they operate, including the United States, under their terms.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
